Quick Searches

Did You Know: You can select your quick searches without having to come to this page? When you click on 'Quick Searches' above, a number of 'drop down' options are listed that you can navigate to directly!

What Are Quick Searches?

Quick Searches are designed to allow you to quickly navigate through thousands of pictures on this site to find just the ones you are interested in. Now if already you know just the country and location you want, you can always navigate directly to them through the All Galleries menu above, but often its more desirable to look across all countries and locations for specific items or themes of interest. Thats where Quick Searches comes in, to rapidly allow you to locate a subset of pictures out of thousands with just the characteristics you are looking for!

What Quick Searches Can I Do?

So glad you asked! Here are the ones you see on the Quick Searches menu above:
1) By Keyword: Every picture is 'tagged' with one to many keywords (such as castle, rainbow, etc.) A keyword search allows you to select what keyword(s) you are interested in searching on, and will retrieve all the pictures with those selected keywords. 2) By Rating: Every picture is tied to one of three ratings. Platinum are the cream of the crop, followed by Gold and Silver. All three ratings have excellent pictures to see, but this is simply a way to narrow down your search by a given rating. Again, you can search by Platinum or by Gold or by Silver
3) Most Recent: When you've already been to the site and have seen the available pictures, it's nice to quickly find ones that have been recently added. A Most Recent search automatically finds pictures added in the last 30 days, last 60 days or last 90 days
4) On a Map: Sometimes its easier to browse around a map of the world and see what pictures are available in various countries or locations on the globe. For greater details click here. Or if you want to view the map and start searching, click here.
